- New and better technology (ex. laptops, ipods, ipads, 3D tvs) 

- Excessive materialism, designer brands, expensive clothing 

- Fast food (ex. Tim Hortons, McDonalds) 

- Advertisements have 'good looking' but unrealistic models 

-Tattoos and piercings
